Our mission at Wasatch International Adoptions is to provide loving homes to children in desperate circumstances, but also to help those left behind. WIA has helped improve living conditions for many children around the world who live without many of the basic necessities of live - food, clothing, bedding, medicine, heat and shelter.

One of our efforts was to replace a boiler to heat an orphanage in Romania. There have been purchases of milk and other food staples purchased for orphanages in Moldova and Bulgaria. Currently WIA is funding a new building to shelter babies in an orphanage in Vietnam. We have repaired physical facilities in many orphanages such as replacing leaking plumbing, USCIStalling new sinks, hot water heaters, etc. We have shipped literally tons of toys and clothing to orphanages in Eastern Europe and continue to do this on a regular basis.

Volunteer medical teams have traveled to Romania twice to provide eye surgery for children living in orphanages in Romania. WIA also participated in a dental project in the Marshall Islands and were able to send over 3,000 toothbrushes and tubes of toothpaste donated by the Ogden Rotary Club to the children of the Marshall Islands. For our latest project, we just completed a shipment of medical equipment for a hospital in Guatemala.

Wasatch has made a commitment to all people and all children everywhere to provide assistance when ever possible. This is our continuing mission.
